40 Years of Rising to the Task

Over the decades, Aspen has become known for organized crews, dependable scheduling, strong production, and the ability to keep commercial projects moving when deadlines matter most. What started as a small local landscape company grew through years of commercial work across changing markets, tight schedules, and large-scale multifamily and commercial construction projects throughout the Inland Northwest.

HOW IT STARTED

Aspen Landscaping was built the same way the best commercial projects are built: through experience, hard work, and finding solutions. Founders, David and Roxanne McKee, began building landscape projects in California during the 1970s before navigating the economic crashes and construction slowdowns of the early 1980s. After relocating to the Inland Northwest, they continued building long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and project teams.

TODAY'S TEAM

Today, Josh McKee leads the company alongside General Manager, Sean Sevey, whose field leadership and project coordination help keep projects organized and running efficiently from start to finish. Together with the Aspen crew, this team specializes in large-scale commercial landscape installation with a strong focus on multifamily construction.

From irrigation systems and hardscape installation to complex commercial landscape projects, Aspen works closely with general contractors, developers, architects, and ownership teams to identify solve problems early, stay responsive on schedule-driven projects, and deliver work that holds up long after the job is complete. Aspen approaches every project the same way it always has: show up prepared, communicate clearly, and produce a quality end product.
